Terms and Conditions

Your instructor is a self-employed franchisee of YOLO - You Only Learn Once Motoring Academy. The contract for driving tuition is between the pupil and instructor ( including Monies )

Driving Lessons are agreed upon between you and your instructor, regarding the timing, location and duration of the individual lessons.

Cancellations. 24 hours' notice must be given, if less than 24 hours then the driving lesson fee must be paid.

If you suspend driving lessons during a pre-paid Block booking for 20 weeks or more then any outstanding amount will be forfeited including test fees.

Block booking / and lesson payment to be arranged with your instructor prior to your lesson starting. All Block bookings must be paid in full at the start of your block booking and made to the instructor

If a lesson/test is cancelled or terminated due to weather or mechanical/electrical failure then the instructor cannot be held responsible.

Test fees are payable to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

The lessons before your test are payable to the instructor.

Road Safety. We reserve the right to withdraw our cars for driving tests should the pupil prove not be test standard.

Should you fail to reach a satisfactory standard of driving and could be a danger to other road users, or are in an unfit condition through substance or alcohol, the Instructor has a responsibility to the DVSA examiners not to allow the use of the training vehicle for the purpose of the driving test. This is in the interest of the pupil, the examiner and other road users. Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency guidelines do not allow a pupil to take a practical test just for the experience.

No responsibility can be taken for tests cancelled by the DVSA.
